Product description: Built in An Architectural View of the City prepared for The City of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Henry W. Maier, Mayor, and William Ryan Drew, Commissioner, Department of City Development, by Landscape Research, project staff consisting of Gail Hunton, Lance Neckar, and Carole Zellie, and edited by Randy Garber. In 1979, the City of Milwaukee initiated a comprehensive architectural survey of the city. The project's goal was to identify and document structures and sites of architectural and/or historical significance constructed prior to 1930. Built in An Architectural View of the City is intended to share the information developed during that survey, highlighting the best of over 6,000 surveyed historic buildings.
